e) Appreciative – As a Leader, one has to always appreciate platoon members intimately and feedback(positive/ negative) should be within unrestricted doors. This imbibes confidence amongst platoon members.

 

f) Influence – A front-runner should be able to positively influence the members of his team. This establishes the initial trend, which, if it continues in the right direction, will do wonders for the workplace.

Disadvantages of autocratic leadership

 

a) Autocratic leadership does hurt group morale.

 

b) The members support their leaders in minimal fashion and don’t use their intelligence. There are times members might also show resentment leading to dislocation in their work.

 

Independent Leadership

He’ll always take inputs from the group and after connection and discussion will give directions to the group. The platoon members of the group share within the decision-making process.
